This is a “middle of the road” course for those who have some knowledge of ECG interpretation and wish to improve their understanding and to develop a disciplined approach to interpretation. This course was designed at the request of the Greater Manchester and Cheshire Cardiac Network to meet the needs of some nurses whose work in a clinical environment requiring a basic knowledge of electrocardiography.
As the title implies, this course is no more than an introduction to ECG interpretation. The most basic aspects of (i) the normal ECG, (ii) morphological abnormalities of the ECG and (iii) cardiac arrhythmias are covered.Go to the Programme page
